Devlog - Version 0.4
Welcome back to the table, players.
This update marks a major step forward for the game, introducing something that changes how each round feels and unfolds. From here on out, no two runs will ever play the same way again.
🔹 New Feature
-
A brand-new system has been added after quotas are complete.
-
You’ll see something you haven’t before… and it’ll have a direct impact on your next opponent.
-
Who (or what) you face will now feel more unpredictable, personal, and replayable.
🔹 Gameplay Adjustments
-
Balanced some round pacing so decisions feel tighter under pressure.
-
Minor tuning to quota scaling for smoother difficulty in early rounds.
-
Small visual polish: menus now transition faster to get you back into the game loop.
🔹 Content Notes
-
No new Trump Cards in this version — but you’ll need to use your existing arsenal more strategically than ever before.
-
Tables and Song Packs remain the same for now; focus this update was on the new system.
🔹 Developer Notes
This update is all about laying the groundwork for future features. You may not see everything right away, but the pieces are now in place for expanding the game’s personality. v0.4 begins to answer a key question:
“Who exactly are you playing against?”
